Internet Chronicle: The Game

An Internet Chronicle videogame? It’s true. It’s real. Play the free demo now, at chronicle.su!

In tonight’s episode the guys attempt to discuss Chronicle Trigger, and can barely stay on topic.

The conversation ranges from King Cobra, to the latest Trump assassination attempt, to cannibalism.

Also: Do Haitians really eat cats and dogs? Probably not, but kilgoar has found a Trump supporter that does, and is spearheading in-depth analysis at the Internet Chronicle. He comes ready with facts, details, jokes and a real life character that is too insane to be made up.

Chronicle Trigger is brought to you proudly by The Internet Chronicle, and sponsored by axisflip.com — your one-stop shop for crypto and financial info.

The King Cobra saga: Jessica Messica tells all!

A victim of targeted harassment speaks out against her perpetrator, NAL (a streamer calling herself Naked and Laughing). After hurting tonight’s guest, NAL went on to become Queen Cobra, in her ongoing efforts to bleed Josh Saunders for all he is worth which, frankly, isn’t very much.

Please enjoy one of the most twisted episodes of Hate Radio there has been in a very long time.

Internet Chronicle Comments

The Lebal Drocer Board of Directors posted figures on Sunday that would suggest the Internet Chronicle itself was used to train an AI model to create funnier headlines faster. The data also suggests that the materials are becoming so subversive, that they skip the formative steps from comedy to stolen satire, instead jumping directly to disinformation. Worse yet, the AI is not being trained on Chronicle stories, but the COMMENTS underneath them!

Kilgoar and hatesec go balls deep into a comment history that has turned the website’s AI companion into a bloodthirsty conspiracy nut.

Also, the boys discuss Anonymous, Mormon cult leader Christopher Nemelka, and reckless driving.

Giorgio Angelini

Giorgio Angelini is an award-winning filmmaker, perhaps best known for the documentary Feels Good Man, a collaboration between himself and Arthur Jones.

Together again with Jones, they went on to make The Antisocial Network, bringing author and journalist Dale Beran into the project, which is out now on Netflix.

The documentary features Internet Chronicle alum and the only guest to do Hate Radio twice, Jihad, aka cho0b, aka Fuxnet. Hatesec is in it. They even let jihad and hatesec be on screen together :>

This episode explores Angelini’s filmmaking insights, the Internet as an organizing force, and Giorgio sets the record straight on Harvey Weinstein.

This is Part 1 in a 3-part interview series with the three filmmakers behind the work.

David Golumbia

We lost our dear friend David Golumbia this week. David loved Internet Chronicle, but first we were his fans.

David was a generous friend. This is a personal account of my interactions with him, our friendship, and his lasting impact on the digital humanities.

—hatesec

Golumbia will be sorely missed.

His new book, and largest project ever, is coming out soon from University of Minn. Press. It is called Cyberlibertarianism, and appears to be a comprehensive look at the mechanisms for consolidation of power within emerging digital spaces, with examples of companies asserting what they feel is their right to create online social spaces, while publicly expressing an intention to put guardrails on AI, but resisting regulation of any kind.

Together with kilgoar and hatesec, the three work to unpack the twin mysteries behind a shared illness in Monaco, and the untimely death of a colleague in Dubai.

Radio X — Twitter is burning down

Join kilgoar and hatesec as the Internet Chronicle writers discuss Goth Dangerfield, George Lowe (Space Ghost: Coast to Coast), and Skipper Doug Jackson of SV Seeker, who lives on his boat and cannibalizes his YouTube audience like a cult leader.

Also, Elon Musk destroys Twitter. This episode covers the possibility that perhaps he is “dumb, and bad at business,” but probably his intentions are more sinister than that.

Radio Hate is brought to you by the Internet Chronicle Restoration Project, which brought back dozens of articles that were first seized in 2014 by Europol in connection with doxbin. Once believed to be lost forever, these treasured materials are now back online in their original quality.

CopGPT

In tonight’s episode, the Chronicle boys get ChatGPT to write a “satirical” Internet Chronicle story in which it tells on itself, “ironically” expressing that it wants to collect information on human preferences or behavior for marketing, and other purposes.

Also, kilgoar and hatesec try their very best to talk about Cop City.
